Alma Burbano is a Physician born in Cali, Colombia. She completed her MD with a minor in Biopsychology at Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá. Has worked in basic science, clinical research, and as part of a multidisciplinary team caring for patients with complex abdominal tumors. Her interests include minimally invasive surgery and value-based health care.

Juan Lara Calvo, MDPostdoctoral Research Fellow
Juan Lara is a physician from Bogota, Colombia. He graduated from medical school with a full tuition scholarship at Universidad de los Andes. He has worked on exercise physiology, hematologic malignancies research, and extensively on neuroradiology and neurosurgical pathologies. His interests include image-guided procedures, medical devices, technology, and programming.

Brian Rosenberg, MD, PhDPostdoctoral Research Fellow
Brian Rosenberg is a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellow. He attended medical school at the Yale School of Medicine. He then completed residency in internal Medicine at New-York Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia University Medical Center, and is in fellowship at the combined Massachusetts General Hospital-Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center program. His clinical interests include pulmonary nodules and pleural disease.

Amrita Karambelkar, MDPostdoctoral Research Fellow
Amrita Karambelkar is a Pulmonary and Critical Care fellow. She attended medical school at the Icahn School of Medicine in New York City. She then completed residency in Internal Medicine at Emory in Atlanta, Georgia, and is in fellowship at Tufts Medical Center. Her clinical interests include Interventional Pulmonology. Her research interests focus on bronchoscopic lung volume reduction and central airway obstruction.

Chan Yeu Pu, MD, MSPostdoctoral Research Fellow
Chan Yeu Pu is a pulmonary critical care attending in Boston. He completed his internal medicine residency at John H. Stroger Hospital and obtained his master of science in clinical research at Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. He continued his fellowship training in pulmonary critical care in University at Buffalo, New York. His clinical and research interests are focused on thoracic oncology and bronchoscopy.

Makayla has experience in basic science, clinical research and international public health field-work, in addition to completing her Masters of Science in Human Nutrition at Columbia University. Her interests include medicine, community engagement, and family health.
